We were blest with some lovely sunshine for the 2018 Lochend Ladies Open, and we had a home winner.
Diane Moncrieff becomes only the second lady to win the Open for a second time with her fine score of 67. It was 2006 the last time Diane won and I'm sure she'll be hoping to be the first person ever to defend the trophy next year.
Elizabeth Anderson (Swanston) was runner-up with 69 and the better-inward-half from Cathryn Buckham, Katy Gillies (Melville) was 4th on the b-i-h from Lochend's Viv Mitchell.
Lochend Champion Mandy McBain took the Best Lochend Lady with a 71. Other Lochenders in the prizes were Jane Maclean (Seniors Prize with 72) and Christine Dugan (Best Lochend Senior with 75)
It was great to see so many familiar faces from the visiting clubs, your support is always appreciated, we hope
you all enjoyed the day, see you all next year.
