Ladies Outing 2008
Lochend Ladies didn't travel very far for their annual outing in fact we went just up the road to Duddingston. With torrential rain closing the course for most of the morning it wasn't looking too promising for a while but thanks the efforts of Club Professional Alistair Maclean and the greenkeeping staff we managed to have two competitions, 8 holes in the morning and 13 in the afternoon. The usual fun and games was as entertaining as ever.

Pat Hill, Diane Moncrieff and Fiona Findley get ready for their competition winning round.

You just can't take Eunice anywhere.

Coleen plays the shot (and by the way almost holed it).

Sandra ends the morning round in a spot of bother.
Coleen tries to help, honest.

Not exactly the Krypton Factor is it.

Prior to the afternoon round Sue has a premonition about "almost getting a hole in one".

I was this close to a hole in one!.

Or was it that close ?

Carol's a bit surprised to be in the third place team

Eunice is as excited as she can be to be in runner-up team.

And well done the winning team of Fiona, Diane and Pat

I've done all this presentation and I've no had a kiss yet!

Awe thanks

Let's just say Sue is "quite happy" to get the nearest the pin

While collecting their two sweep money, Coleen and Sue discuss who had the best "Pair"....Sue wins

Let's not forget there was a serious game of golf happening.
Jaci taking the runner-up prize with 24 points over the 13 holes.
Coleen was third with 21 on the B.I.H. from Diane.

The afternnon winner was Linda Bain with an excellent 31 points over 13 holes. Proving she is in great shape to defend her Championship.
