22nd August There were actually no less than three Lochenders who nailed hole-in-ones last week. Only just heard that John Young also holed his tee shot. This one was at Craigentinny's 13th during the JGB Muir trophy. They are raining in.
On Wednesday Alex MacIntyre got his first hole-in-one at Broomieknowe during their Seniors Open. Alex aced the 167 yard 5th hole using a hybrid and it was also nice he was playing fellow lochender Willie Hamilton.
Tam Galloway is also a proud member of the hole-in-one gang.  During the Lochcraig annual outing to Gogarburn, Tam duly found the cup with his 7-iron shot to the 128 yard 7th hole.
Congratulations to you all

The 14-year-old showed the oldies how its done by winning the J B Roche New Year's Day competition with a brilliant 58. So nice to see the lad's commitment paying off, he hardly misses a Junior Monday Night during the summer and puts in so much practice with his proud dad and friends (Scott is also contributing to the R’S Holes rise up the Winter League table). What a bright golfing future he has ahead of him.
